Chinese acrobatic experience
Chinese acrobatics was developed more than 2,500 years ago as a form of art extracted from skills in daily life, work and martial arts. As people didn’t have any electronic form of entertainment, they used their imagination to entertain themselves. They took everyday objects like tables, chairs, plates and bowls and practiced juggling and balancing with them.
Today, this art form has developed into a sophisticated stage performance, with the addition of traditional dance, costumes, music and theatrical techniques.
In this exciting incursion, students will be given a chance to experience similar acts as they rotate through the following seven skills:

- Riding a unicycle and balance bike
- Walking on stilts
- Plate spinning
- Playing with the diabolo
- Umbrella balancing on a beam
- Ribbon twirling and scarf juggling
- Handkerchief dance
