karate

Karate is a martial art developed in Japan. In today's world, children are constantly faced with situations which require quick thinking and action to remain safe in the community. Our karate program teaches students basic self defence techniques focusing on punching, kicking, blocking and using one's inner strength and voice as a tool to stay safe. A variety of fun games focusing on body parts and physical fitness together with counting and voicing karate commands all in Japanese will definitely excite and engage everyone. Students will bow with respect to their sensei and have time to design their own hachimaki headband. Karate uniforms will be supplied for each student  to authenticate this cultural experience.
